Quick English ↔ Vietnamese lookup, no sign-in needed

Open ThomLingo, enter a word or phrase, and look it up. Use ⇄ to switch between English → Vietnamese and Vietnamese → English. Sign in when you want to save a word for later practice.

Live translation for videos and meetings

In the ThomLingo popup, choose Live translation. Select a Chrome tab with audio and enable Share tab audio to follow speech and translations. To review them on the website, connect your ThomLingo account and enable “Save transcript”. It is off by default and saves only from the next segment after you enable it.

Sign in from the extension

  1. Unzip the file. Open chrome://extensions → Developer mode → Load unpacked.
  2. Open ThomLingo in Chrome and click “Sign in”.
  3. Choose Google or your ThomLingo account. You will return to the extension after signing in.
  4. Reload your reading page, highlight a word, then press Option or click Tomi.

Chrome prevents extensions from running on chrome://, the Chrome Web Store, and certain protected pages. Password fields and text you are typing are not read.
